The Jamaica Town Clerk is the custodian of all the town land and vital records. All licenses, permits and certificates are issued by this office. The Town Clerk is elected every year during Town Meeting.
Bonnie West has been the Jamaica Town Clerk since 1991, and also serves as the Town Teasurer collecting fees and distributing payments approved by the Select Board. Bonnie has been in public service for over 40 years; serving as an auditor, library trustee, Old Home Day Chairperson Assiting Bonnie is Sohpia Sanderson. Sophia has been the Assistant Town Clerk since 1991. The Town Offices are located on 17 Pikes Falls Road in the Village of Jamaica. The Offices are open Tuesday through Friday 9am - Noon and 1pm to 4pm.
