The Jamaica Town Office is located at 28 Town Office Rd. Parking and entrance are in the rear.
The Jamaica Town Clerk and Treasurer are the custodians of all the town land, financial and vital records. All licenses, permits and certificates are issued by this office. In 2011 the Town Charter was changed so that the positions of Town Clerk and Treasurer became an appointed position. This change which was supported by a town-wide ballot question gives the Town more accountability over the positions.

Some of the services we provide and associated fees are as follows:
Land Record Recording: $10 per page, $15 per map, $10 per PTTR regardless of page number. Please send a self addressed stamped envelope for the return of your documents once recorded.
Land Record Copies: $1.00 per page; Other copies: 25 cents per page
Certified Copies of Vital Records: $10 each
Dog Licenses (due by April 1st): $9.00 spayed/neutered, $13.00 unaltered. Late fee applies after April 1st.
Marriage License: $60.00 (effective July 1, 2016 the fee was increased to $60 - the additional $15 is going to the State Domestic and Sexual Violence Special Fund)
