Volunteer Help Available for Non-Emergency

Volunteer Help Available for Non-Emergency Support During the COVID – 19 Emergency

CDC Models predict Vermont will experience its COVID-19 infection peak in April. If you become infected or are required to self isolate because of exposure to the COVID – 19 virus and need help with:

• Delivery of groceries, medications or mail • Delivery of Jamaica Village School meals for your children if you are unable to pick them up from the school Please Call Neighborhood Connections. They will arrange for one of the Jamaica volunteers to help you out. You may also contact one of us and we will see that Neighborhood Connections is notified.

If you have signs of COVID – 19 or are Self Isolating, it’s important that someone check on you daily to ensure that you are alright, or if you are not and are unable notify your health care provider or emergency services. If you do not have a relative, friend or neighbor who will do this, please call Neighborhood Connections or one of us to arrange for a Jamaica volunteer to provide

• Telephone monitoring.

If you do not have signs of COVID – 19 and need transportation to an essential doctor’s appointment please call Neighborhood Connections or one of us to arrange for a Jamaica Volunteer to provide

• Non-COVID transportation.

Please Stay Healthy
