This ordinance was adopted on September 10, 2018. It will take effect on November 9,2018, unless a petition signed by at least five percent of the voters of Jamaica is filed with the town clerk by October 24, 2018, asking for a vote to disapprove. If a petition is received, the Jamaica Selectboard will warn a special meeting and the voters may vote on that question. 24 V.S.A. § 1973.
