The West River Education District (WRED) will be hosting three community forums during the month of September. They are planning to present a proposal in which all of the WRED Pre-K-5 students will be combined in a new, single elementary campus, to be located at what is currently NewBrook Elementary school. Over the past year, the WRED board went through a long term planning process, and believe that the proposal would provide more opportunities for students at a reduced cost to our taxpayers. The forum will be located at our three elementary schools, according to the following schedule:
September 18 – Townshend Elementary School – 7:00 PM
September 26 – Jamaica Village School – 7:00 PM
September 30 – NewBrook Elementary School – 7:00 PM
